Five CLC wrestlers got medals this afternoon: Oostburg's J.J. Froelich recovered from his first-round loss to a freshman by taking third at 103 pounds in Division 3, and Mitch Lubner of Ozaukee was fifth at 160.
Random Lake's Gary Pieper (189), Ozaukee's Shawn Flom (140) and Cedar Grove-Belgium's Nick Wendt (103) finished sixth.
Finals get underway at 6 p.m. Locally, A.J. Kissel of Oostburg is going for his third state title at 171 and Cedar Grove's Brandon Garcia is going for No. 1 at 135.
